Since 1870, in the heart of the Grand Saint-Émilion region, Château Vieux Mougnac has perpetuated the art of winemaking with the utmost respect for nature and traditions. This family estate, passed down with passion over five generations, cultivates 9 hectares of vines using organic farming methods, without pesticides or herbicides.
Here, each bottle is an ode to time. We only sell old vintages, carefully aged for at least 6 years in our cellars, to offer wines at perfect maturity, ready to reveal all their aromatic elegance and complexity. Our reds, made from Merlot and Cabernet Franc, are true gastronomic wines, designed to enhance the finest tables. Our rare white wines made from Sémillon, elegant and unique, appeal to discerning connoisseurs.
Recognized for our authenticity, we are among the five best sellers at the Cité du Vin in Bordeaux, have been selected by the sommelier of the Élysée, and are the only estate in the Grand Saint-Émilion region listed in the Guide du Routard, which describes us as "a small wine that has everything of a big one."
