At a time when many Mexican “industrial” beers are no longer brewed in Mexico, we wanted to maintain the tradition, authenticity and know-how of Mexican brewers.
This is why our beer is developed, manufactured and bottled in the city of Morelia (Mexico).
NACIONAL MORELOS was founded in 2015 in the heart of Mexico’s independence, in Morelia, Michoacan. This is how the brand takes its name. NACIONAL MORELOS pays homage with its name to the Nation and to Morelos, one of the founding fathers of Mexico, Jose Maria Morelos y Pavén. born in Valladolid, which is now called Morelia. The brewery is proud of this identity since their vision is to represent a local brand independent of the big breweries of the world and to promote the culture of craft beer in Mexico with bold and traditional beers.
Grupo Modelo, founded in 1925, is the leader in Mexico in the production, distribution and marketing of beer. It owns eight breweries in Mexico, with a total annual capacity of 70 million hectoliters.
Pacifico is a Mexican beer brand, its beginnings date back to 1900 when three Germans opened a brewery in the small Mexican port of Mazatlán, Sinaloa. A great popular beer with surfer tradition that is part of Grupo Modelo, being the leading brand in the northwest of the country.
