In the archaic Umbrian language “Perticaia” means the plow, a distinctive symbol of agriculture.
Ploughing signed the passage from the sheep farming to agriculture, a strong local rooting.

The owner is the Becca family. The cellar and vineyards are located in Casale, one of the most prestigious MGA of Montefalco, here we tend our vines following organic protocols.

Vines grown in full respect of the environment, nature and ecosystem. Today we are bio-organic certified.

We produce the most representative Classic reds from that area such as Montefalco Sagrantino Docg, Montefalco Rosso doc unless to say Trebbiano Spoletino Doc and Grechetto Umbria igt under the whites.
We were one of the first cellars to emerge from this area and to let Trebbiano Spoletino get back on track again.
