Pruno is a brand created in 2024 by Vincent Barral, a 30-year-old from Lot-et-Garonne, who, after spending 3 years in Paris, returned to Agen with the desire to bring a project to fruition in the world of commerce, and with strong values such as proximity, sharing and promoting the region and its stakeholders.
Proud of his city and his department, associating prunes and Agen was obvious to him. It was with this initial idea that he built his project. And with one ambition: to modernize the prune and offer it in new and more original forms. The story therefore began in June 2023 with exchanges and numerous meetings along the roads of Lot-et-Garonne in order to discover the agricultural players who make up its territory. HAS At the end of 2023, he created the Pruno brand in order to offer a range of diversified, quality products with a modern and high-end image.
In April 2024, he opened his delicatessen in the heart of Agen to offer all gourmets carefully selected products, as well as exclusive creations in collaboration with local artisans. All in a tailor-made setting to best showcase all these gems. The opening has been a great success with the people of Agen, but also with tourists, who are happy to be able to rediscover this emblematic product of Agen in all its variations. For the local press and tourist guides, it quickly became the reference for prunes in Agen. In September 2024, it will launch a catalog aimed at professionals in order to promote its products beyond Agen while maintaining its exclusive and high-end identity.
