In their eyes the pride of continuing a story started 90 years ago by great-grandfather Sebastiano.
At the base is the solidity and tradition of a great family history born in Syracuse with Sebastiano Drago in 1929 and kept alive until today by the heirs of a family that has always been able to anticipate the times, but which has never abandoned the tradition and the craftsmanship in the manufacturing. A virtuous example of future-oriented entrepreneurship that in four generations has been able to reach all sectors of large-scale distribution and normal trade and retain more and more end consumers. Today it is also present in the international markets with the quality certified by the BRC and IFS standards.
“I think we can say that, for our company, the art of producing fish preserves really has no secrets, thanks to an expertise gained over 90 years of work on the product, explains Pierpaolo Drago, the company's Commercial Director. This passion and the pleasure of being able to do this job has been handed down from generation to generation in our house. A unique heritage of knowledge of recipes and processes where know-how, dexterity and sensitivity represent an essential component of all our production. My brother and I have treasured every teaching, arriving at having an overall vision of the whole supply chain to deliver an excellent product to the customer. Obviously we are pleased to know that we are heirs to a passion and a pioneering spirit that have characterized the company since 1929. Today the spirit that guides us is not so different from then, Pierpaolo concludes, only that it is necessarily aimed at a market bigger, more varied and more attentive and for this reason we cannot be caught unprepared".

In fact, walking through the company, the family atmosphere does not change and the attention of every single employee immediately catches the eye who, following a precise traditional technique, also handed down from generation to generation, cleans the fish by hand as if it were he was caressing and cuddling and feels proud to create a product of the highest quality.
