Born in the heart of the Marais Poitevin, the La Cibulle brewery was founded by Maxime Bonnin in 2016 in Maillé (Vendée).
The adventure began much earlier, in a small garage on rue de Cibulle, where Maxime, passionate about gastronomy, brewed his first attempts in a 70-litre artisanal vat.
Encouraged by his loved ones, he decided to turn this passion into a career and settle in his native village.
With the support of the town hall, he set up the brewery in a former municipal building, thus giving birth to La Cibulle – a brand that is local, friendly and deeply human.
Mission
To brew honest, balanced beers rooted in their region.
La Cibulle's mission is simple:
to create quality, accessible, and expressive craft beers that reflect the character of the Marais Poitevin and the spirit of its inhabitants.
The goal:
to offer authentic, unadulterated beers inspired by Anglo-Saxon styles (Pale Ale, Amber Ale, etc.)),promote local products and know-how, and transmit a brewing culture of sharing and taste curiosity.
