Once upon a time, in 2020, two friends from Réunion and Martinique met around a wooden table in a small café in Strasbourg. They shared a common passion for rum and the richness of their respective cultures. One of them, Stéphane, originally from Martinique, was an expert in rum infusions. The other, Jean-Marcel, from Reunion, was a master in the art of exotic fruit blends.
"“Imagine if we could share this culture with the whole world,” says Stéphane, sipping a glass of aged rum.
""That's a brilliant idea," replied Jean-Marcel, "but how would we do it?"
It was then that they had the idea of creating "Ti Caz Kréol", a brand that would aim to popularize the arranged and planter's rums of their native islands. They wanted each sip to be an invitation to travel, a dive into the aromas and traditions of Martinique and Reunion.
After months of planning, careful calculations, and testing to go from centiliters of mix to hectoliters of production, they were ready. Their first product, a pineapple vanilla rum, was an instant success. The explosive aromas of pineapple blended perfectly with the tropical sweetness of vanilla, providing an unparalleled taste experience.
But that was just the beginning. They then launched a limited edition of Planters, blending tropical fruit juices like guava, passion fruit, and papaya, with their specially infused rum. Each bottle was like a celebration of their heritage, a true feast in the mouth.
The success of "Ti Caz Kréol" quickly exceeded their expectations.
Today, "Ti Caz Kréol" is more than a brand; it's a mission. Stéphane and Jean-Marcel continue to experiment with new flavors and new methods, always with the aim of sharing the culture and joie de vivre of their islands with the whole world.
And they lived happily, sharing the spirit and flavors of Martinique and Reunion, one bottle at a time.
