Since 1990, Jean-Marie CASTELLS has worked with heart and passion in this field.
First a farm worker and, since 2002, owner, he strives to give pleasure to all those who taste his wine. A winegrower but above all a farmer, he loves his land.
Each drop of wine is the fruit of passionate work which combines the richness of the varied terroirs which adorn our estate, the choice of grape varieties according to the geographical location of the plots and the know-how of the people who accompany the wine, from the vine to the glass.
ÊBeing in Pagèze is no coincidence for Jean-Marie. His grandfather already had sheep in a sheepfold adjoining the estate in the 1950s. If stones could speak, they would undoubtedly help us discover what our ancestors were like, their work, their lives, their joys and their difficulties....
The Cross sealed on the wall of the Estate is a copy of the one designed and forged by the Grandfather of Marie, his wife. Grandfather, artist and blacksmith in his spare time, but above all, winemaker and distiller. His creativity, imagination and extraordinary practicality will forever remain a lesson of which we should be proud!
