We would like to inform you of some important decisions regarding our business activity. It is with great regret that we inform you that we have made the decision to cease our current direct distribution activity as of July 31, 2024.
After careful consideration, we are making this difficult choice to allow us to focus our efforts on the development of our taproom in Pantin as well as on the activity of our CHR distributors.
We want to thank you because over the years it has been incredibly rewarding to build relationships with so many incredible places across France. We have been privileged to work with extraordinary partners, and the collaborations we have forged have been truly exceptional. Your commitment to Gallia and your trust in our brand are invaluable to us.
While our priorities may change, rest assured that our commitment to providing top quality and service remains unwavering. We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that our products maintain Gallia's standard of excellence, and we look forward to the opportunity to continue our partnership with you in new and meaningful ways.
The second big change concerns our e-shop. Launched in 2020, in the difficult context of COVID-19, the e-shop was a crucial strategic response to ensure the continuity of our activities. Over time, this platform has become much more than just a sales channel: it embodies the creativity and quality that Gallia is renowned for. However, despite its undeniable successes, the e-shop presents significant logistical and financial challenges for our company. After many efforts to optimize costs and improve our customer service, we had to make the difficult decision to close our e-shop at the end of July 2024. This decision allows us to focus even more strongly on our core priorities.
Finally, with respect to our international operations, while we have had the privilege of working with extraordinary partners around the world, we must recognize that continuing on an international scale is no longer sustainable for us. This is no longer sustainable for our resources or our team. Therefore, we have also decided to end our international activities.
We are extremely grateful for your understanding and support during this transitional period. We are reachable and available to answer your questions and plan the future with peace of mind, in particular to establish a continuity plan via the distributor network.
