Samuel, after 10 years of employment on the family farm, decided to take over as the 4th generation on the "La Rouérie à Gennes-Longuefuye" site. He moved into the 22.90 ha business in 2011 with an arboreal production of cider apples.
Located in southern Mayenne, in the Pays de Château-Gontier, the Rouérie orchards extend over 15 hectares of orchards with local varieties, such as Bedan, Fréquin Rouge, Damelot, etc.
Samuel is committed to implementing the know-how transmitted by his parents to produce quality cider.
Mélanie, Samuel's wife, after a 15-year career as an accountant and farm consultant, chose to join Samuel on the farm on February 1, 2023.
This new choice of life, allows the development of the exploitation of the orchards in Mayenne and the arrival of new activities such as lodging and the breeding of poultry.
In line with our convictions, we wanted to convert the entire farm to Organic Farming in May 2020.
From the orchard to the cellar, we were keen to put all our know-how into developing our range of cider products.
At each stage of apple processing, we reflect and experiment, to put the best in our bottles.
Our goal is that our products sublimate your tables and thrill your taste buds.
A large part of our range is in conversion to organic farming.
