The “All’Herbe” initiative is the result of a reflection initiated by a Sarthois farmer named Christophe d’Aillières. It is based on the principle of sustainable agriculture, guided by peasant common sense, and focuses on the development of systems for breeding herbivores, such as cows and sheep, which are mainly grass-fed.
Driven by a vision of a more sustainable future that respects people and nature, ALL'HERBE structures its daily work around four fundamental pillars:
- Social: People must be the central concern of our agricultural production. Healthy and tasty meat comes from the work of a happy breeder, a satisfied employee or a construction apprentice.
- Environmental: Respect for the environment is at the heart of the implementation of our breeding systems. We continually reflect on our practices, which allows us to approach the natural cycles of meadows and animals in a sensible way.
- Economic: Our grass-based meat production systems are also businesses rooted in economic reality. Achieving financial autonomy is an essential objective, particularly with regard to subsidies.
- Health: Mindful consumption of quality grass-fed meat provides the body with essential nutrients for balanced health. A grass-based diet promotes a good omega balance.
