The BASTIDE d'ORLIAC estate is in the
family for centuries, attests to this
an authenticated pass and
signed by King Louis XVI putting our
ancestor Jean Orliac under his protection
so that he calmly exercises his
trade of merchant (merchant of
wine supplying Versailles)
Château Labastide Orliac is located
in Lot et Garonne on the first
Garonne hills in the south-
west of France, between the calls
regions of Bordeaux, Cahors and
of Madiran. This geographical location
phic determines our continuous climate
between the oceanic climate of
Bordeaux and the Mediterranean climate

Our property, the only one in the call-
tion on the right bank of the Garonne,
extends over a terroir composed of
giles similar to those of Pomerol
and limestones similar to those of
Saint Emilion.
The orientation of the domain is dominant
nante nord avoiding too large
temperature rises.
Slopes and hills ensure
natural soil drainage for
the red grape varieties and the more
wet are reserved for whites
We produce an average of 450
hectos of red per year and 80 of white.
The reds are the result of assem-
predominantly Cabernet-
franc, to which are added Merlot,
from Tannat and a regional grape variety
Abouriou, which make these wines
wines for laying down.
Whites are composed of Gros
manseng, Chardonnay, Petit
courbu and Sauvignon.
Our range consists of three
red:
•The “Two Sisters” at the start of
range
•Château Labastide Orliac, wine
noble of the domain
•the “Royal Heritage 1780”, a
exceptional single-varietal wine
Cabernet Franc.
The latter does not meet the
assembly requirements AOC is
marketed in Vin de France
•In white, “The Prince” is a white
dry with a mineral character.
Our wines are vinified in small
cement vats of 20 and 50 hectares.
They spend a year in barrels and
return to vats for one more year
before bottling.
Our tanks of
small volumes allowed us to have
more elegant extractions, more
on the fruit, and more blends
purposes, favoring the harvest at
good maturity of each plot.
