In the depths of the Languedoc vineyard, located at the top of its hill, the terroir of Saint-Christol has seen successive generations of winegrowers for more than 2000 years, designing and redesigning these small plots of vines.
Descendants of the Gallo-Roman peasants of our village, we experienced a tremendous boost in the notoriety of our wines with the arrival of the Knights of the Order of Malta, from the 12th century.
It is thus, on these Villafranchian terraces, made up of rolled pebbles, that our family repeats these gestures which have been transmitted to us with patience and meticulousness by our ancestors and which shape our landscape.
The wines of the Haut Courchamp estate are the culmination of high quality requirements, with the greatest respect for our vegetal setting. The latter is the guarantor of our exceptional vine terroir, it gives our fruits a rare balance and maturation that make the reputation of the wines of Saint-Christol.
We only work a few hectares, which we vinify in an ancestral way, our ultimate pleasure being to astonish your senses, to share this heritage, without artifice, this truth of the terroir.
