The Lagrange estate, which produces Bordeaux wines in AOC Côtes de Bourg, planted with vines since the beginning of the 19th century, has been producing for nearly two centuries a wine whose quality is recognized by the prestigious Féret guide, from the very first editions of 1850. Property of Mr. de Subercazeaux (also master of the Château les Eyquems in Tauriac), who inherited it from his mother, the estate was sold to Adolphe Sicard in 1908. It was he who built the "castle" in 1928, and who will develop the notoriety of the vineyard, before passing on the torch to his grandson. In 2020, after a long period of renting during which the wine was marketed under another name, Alexandre and Laurence Laffont bought the estate: the "Château Lagrange" was reborn.
