Our brand, which is also and above all our family farm for more than 3 generations, was, at the beginning, specialized in the breeding of sheep but also cows, pigs, etc.
Following the end of my studies in 2005 and my installation in 2006 on the farm, I made the choice to no longer put fertilizer on my land and to rethink the production system by limiting interventions on the land as much as possible and promoting the life of the earth. This is why it was only natural that the farm went organic in 2013.
Since 2020 I have launched into the production of lentils and chickpeas to offer consumers a diet rich in protein and requiring no inputs on my farm.
The production of lentils and chickpeas (20%) (but also alfalfa (70%) for sheep feed) allows the consumer to be able to consume organic proteins and enrich the soil because lentils, chickpeas, alfalfa are legumes that capture nitrogen in the air to grow and enrich the soil by returning the excess.
I fell in love with this production because it is a win-win mode of production for the consumer, the producer and nature.
