The Sugaar micro-distillery was born from a mixture of passion, desire to create and a touch of madness. Located in the Basque country, the distillery extends the pagan cults of the Basques with the forces of nature and the great creative principles of the world. Thus, these mythological roots are found in the very name of the distillery (Basque god of fire and lightning).
The micro-distillery is artisanal with a deliberately limited production capacity: the entire production process is done on site in order to produce original and uncompromising spirits. We use local ingredients as much as possible (juniper berries, citrus fruits, barley, etc.), cultivate a privileged relationship with producers and are attentive to the tastes and desires of amateurs.
