The Domaine de Vézian is located in the south of France, in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, between the Mediterranean Sea and Mont Canigou.

Albert Léonce Marie Philippe, Baron d'Albénas, bought the Domaine de Vézian from its founder in 1919, he kept it in his family until 1972.

In February 1972, Joseph Bonzoms, father of Marie-José Bonzoms, grandfather of Julie and Fanny Briu, acquired the Domaine de Vézian and replanted a variety of improving grape varieties but kept a plot of "old vines" of black Carignan. This plot was planted in 1945 by the women of the Domaine, because the men had not all returned from the 2nd World War.

In 1990, Marie-José Briu and Guy Briu took over ownership of the Domaine. They cultivate there with their daughter Julie, quality wines combining respect for the terroir and modernity.

From 2000, the Briu family decided to practice reasoned and sustainable viticulture as well as minimum pruning, in order to reduce phytosanitary treatments.

In 2015, the wines of the Domaine de Vézian obtained the Origine France Garantie label.
