In the 19th century, the former Poitou-Charentes region was one of the main French mustard-producing territories. For more than 20 years, La Moutarderie Confiserie has wanted to perpetuate a local historical tradition around this condiment by imagining its own mustards. Then the company developed its artisanal know-how by creating caramels and numerous jams.
Our tasty recipes are developed in our workshops with, as soon as they are available, quality local raw materials, such as AOP Charentes Poitou-Charentes butter, Marais Poitevin honey, Espelette pepper, Cognac, Pineau des Charentes... .La Moutarderie Confiserie is a family and artisanal business made up of 5 employees, located in the small village of Gourvillette, cradle of gastronomy, not far from Cognac.
