Our philosophy….
Esprit Nature, a dream:
Transmit to our children the land of our parents without having degraded it, but exploited with respect to make them discover its riches...

In the respect of the environment, the ecosystem, the fauna and the flora by favoring organic viticulture…

Leave the free expression of Nature, grapes and wines, without human intervention, for open, expressive, and characterful champagnes that reflect our terroir, its identity while respecting the consumer.

Our daily commitment represents for you the guarantee of tasting quality cuvées that resemble us… “Champagne DELONG Marlène, a tasting full of emotions. »

Our land

Founded in 1966, the “Champagne DELONG Marlène” house is now managed by Marlène and Damien: Independent winegrowers, harvesters-handlers and nature lovers.

Covering an area of 5.30 ha, the estate covers 3 towns on the hillsides of Sézannais: Allemant, Broyes and Sézanne. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier flourish on vines aged 20 to over 50 years, a chalky subsoil, rich and varied soils. A piecemeal and meticulous work by Marlène and Damien offers a great diversity and a beautiful complexity to the range.

Winemaking
Manual harvesting, grapes harvested at optimal maturity, no chaptalisation.
Vinification as natural as possible (only Coeurs de cuvées) in order to highlight our terroir and reveal champagnes of character, fine, elegant with their own identity and perfect for gastronomy.

The wines are aged on lees in stainless steel vats for at least 10 months, or even 2 years and more for reserve wines. The lees bring aromas, depth and suppleness. Our wines are therefore no longer filtered and the aging of the champagnes is spread over at least 3 years in order to let them enrich themselves, rest and clear up over time.

The dosage remains subtle to ensure an optimal balance in each cuvée and perfect homogeneity requires at least 6 months between disgorgement and release.

Biodiversity
To the call "Save the bees", we answered "let's put hives in the garden!" “We are now able to offer you the sweet nectar….
