THE FRUIT OF AN OVERBOUND PASSION
The Art Mas vineyard is made up of 30 hectares of vines with noble grape varieties located in the Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Visan appellation area in the Vaucluse, southern part of the Rhône valley. Secular family heritage, the vineyard on hillsides with optimal exposure produces concentrated, expressive wines with an astonishing aromatic richness.
The cuvées are distinguished by the control of very low yields (28 hl/hectare) allowing a perfect expression of a unique terroir, a terroir qualified according to the sayings as being "the most beautiful of Visan". Qualitative research is pushed to the extreme, the harvest is done exclusively manually. The nature of the clay-limestone soil predisposes Art Mas to the production of great wines.
Art Mas is also the unusual story of a domain taken over by a young man with overflowing passion, a generous personality and endearing charisma. From the lands of his fathers, Xavier Combe draws deep esteem. He cultivates his vineyard by rigorously respecting the terroir offered as a precious heritage and by adopting organic farming as a rule of conduct. Craftsman of genius, he develops with dexterity wines of high quality.
